Come join Danielle Cosme of thedragonG.E.M. and Kristine Wilson of Become Your U Yoga on a journey through the beautiful serene landscape in the heart of Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica where we spend our days at Vida Asana School Of Yoga and Eco-Retreat Center immersing ourselves in an abundance of self care rituals to guide us back to our authentic selves.

As we gather everyone at the airport and head on our way, the driver will stop at the famous Tarcoles Bridge, to see crocodiles in their natural habitat, and fresh coconut water will be provided for each guest! Upon arrival, we will have welcome refreshments and light snacks. 

Our week will consist of a daily morning grounding meditation either on the beach or in the jungle shala as we anchor our minds, quiet the noise, and tap into our inner wisdom, 2 yoga classes (am/pm), the Power of Mindset Mastermind Workshop with Danielle delving into the art of transformation unleashing limiting beliefs, rewriting your narrative, and stepping into your full potential as well as a Somatic Movement Workshop with Kristine exploring neuromuscular patterns, releasing tension, and rediscovering your body’s innate wisdom. It’s not just about movement; it’s about reclaiming your soul’s temple. Under a star-studded sky, we feast on a nourishing meal as the ocean’s rhythm sets the backdrop, and laughter dances in the salty breeze while we enjoy dinner on the beach, sound healing/cacao ceremony, and sangria night raising our glasses to life, to transformation, and to the symphony of souls gathered around. We even have time to lounge by the pool, hammock, or swings as we embody nature and the harmonious sounds in the beautiful jungle. Additional services and excursions will be available to sign up and attend.

Location:

Vida Asana is conveniently located 90 minutes from San Jose Airport (SJO), just outside of Jaco in beautiful Playa Hermosa, Costa Rica. Situated between the lush tropical beauty of the jungle and world-famous beaches of Playa Hermosa, our location provides easy access to a variety of activities, excursions, restaurants, and shopping, yet offers a peaceful jungle setting to repose.

Vida Asana is deeply committed to community involvement and support. While engaging in many activities that support and unite the community at large, we directly support Waves of Hope, an organization affiliated with the 501c Yoga 4 Bee. Waves of Hope was created out of a vision to provide therapeutic yoga retreats to parents who have lost a child.

Dining:

Included in your stay are three meals daily during your retreat, a welcome snack upon arrival, and one sangria night. Our food at Vida Asana was created with a healthy lifestyle as the inspiration. Every menu item is created using whole, and as often as possible, organic ingredients. Our food is gluten free, and primarily plant-based, with eggs and yogurt at breakfast, and fish served at dinner every second night. All allergies or dietary needs are easily accommodated. Additionally, we are continuing to install more permaculture gardens and edible landscaping to increase our onsite organic harvest.

Additional Amenities Included in This Retreat:

  • All rooms have a private bathroom, hot water, AC, ceiling fan, and are stocked with Raw Botanicals, all organic hair and body care products.

  • Mini Fridge (in most rooms) and a larger fridge in the common area (exclusively for guests).

  • Pool, sun deck with lounge chairs, and a covered lounge area.

  • Sloth station - hammocks & swings to chill.

  • Bicycles for transportation to and from the beach.

  • Complimentary WiFi.

  • Concierge services (booking of tours, adventures, massages, transportation, general information).

Spa:

We work with several independent therapists that offer a variety of bodywork. Once your group arrives, we will work with each interested person to schedule treatments during available times within your schedule. Prices range from $70 - $200 depending on the treatment.

Additional Excursions

(Not Included In The Retreat):

There is something for everyone here! We have narrowed down the many options to include favorites that coincide well with group schedules. Those excursions are listed below with prices per person. Transportation is included in the pricing of all pre-arranged Vida Asana excursions. Activities that are not pre-arranged, will then be discussed on the night of arrival and the group will be given the opportunity to sign up for all activities that they would like to experience. Participants pay for excursions directly to Vida Asana. Requests for other excursions that are not listed will be arranged on an individual basis as feasibility allows.

  • Rainmaker Conservation Project - $70 per person

  • Manuel Antonio National Park - $80 per person

  • Surfing - $60 per person 

  • Stand Up Paddleboard - $65 per person 

  • Zipline - $60 per person

  • Sweatlodge - $80 per person

  • Horseback Riding and Jungle Spa - $110 per person

  • Mirador Hike - $20 Donation

  • Skydiving - $45 (USPA Fun Jumpers) - $300-$500 (Tandem [Jump with instructor] Packages)

  • 60 minute 1:1 Transformative Mindset Coaching with Danielle - $150 per session/person

Arrival/Departure & Transfers:

Flights and additional travel expenses are not included in this retreat. You will want to fly into the San Jose, Costa Rica International Airport (SJO). There will be one airport transfer each way that is pre-arranged for our group and is included in the retreat. Often an extra transfer is required for very early or late arrivals. If you require extra transfers to Vida Asana, we can arrange transportation for you with one of our trusted drivers. The price generally runs $110 -$150 each way. Some exceptions apply.

***Please arrive at SJO by 12 pm March 30, 2025, and have your departure flight leave after 12 pm April 6, 2025, so that you are able to be a part of the shuttle.***

Private Accommodations*: $2,557 per person

Shared Accommodations: $1,999 per person

  • Choice between Shared Double Occupancy or Shared Triple Occupancy*

All forms of payment include a non-refundable deposit of $500 

Roundtrip Airfare is not included. 

Cancellations:

  • $500 non refundable deposit is included in all forms of payment and due at time of registration.

  • Half payment is due by November 15, 2024 (unless otherwise agreed upon)

  • Full payment is due by February 15, 2025 (unless otherwise agreed upon).

  • In the event a participant has to cancel between time of booking & December 23, 2024, 100% of payment is refundable, (minus $500 deposit and applicable fees).

  • No refunds granted after December 24, 2024. 

  • We do understand the need for flexibility. Beginning December 25, 2024 cancellations are eligible to transfer to another account; however, this must be pre-arranged by contacting transform@thedragongem.life in order to initiate. Must be completed/transferred prior to February 21, 2025. 

  • Travel insurance, airline fees, and service charges related to cancellation of flights are the responsibility of the individual traveler.
